Local Initiatives
After School Tutoring
Atmore Community Alliance (ACA) provides tutoring for children in all grades, Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm-5:30pm. ACA runs a variety of planned activities geared towards promoting the development language, critical-thinking, problem solving skills, curiosity, and confidence in learning. Volunteer tutors are local residents from the community who have a passion to help children reach their highest potential.
Mentorship
ACA helps students connect with positive role models and form a strong foundation of learning in order to promote academic success.
Life Skills, Arts, & Much More
Activities include organized sports, arts and crafts, music, and self-esteem workshops.
